E o vencedor do prêmio principal foi Birdman ou (A Inesperada Virtude da Ignorância) [Birdman or (The Unexpected Vitue of Ignorance)], eu realmente não esperava, mas, foi o que aconteceu, pois eu queria que “A Teoria de Tudo” (The Theory of Everything) .
Desta vez não houve um grande vencedor, pois, “O Grande Hotel Budapeste” (The Grand Budapest Hotel) e Birdman ou (A Inesperada Virtude da Ignorância) [Birdman or (The Unexpected Vitue of Ignorance)] levaram 4 estatuetas cada, em seguida temos Whiplash – Em Busca da Perfeição (Whiplash) com 3 estatuetas.
Diferente do ano passado em que “Gravidade” (Gravity) levou 10 estatuetas sendo que no total são 24, já neste ano, houve uma distribuição dos prêmios, homenageando os diversos gêneros.
